Next Academy Sessions ~ August 16th & 17th, 2012

The College of IS&T launched its IT Professional Development Academy in August 2011, with sessions held three times per year. Our goal is to leverage the intellectual expertise available at the university to offer high quality, affordable, locally accessible, cutting edge IT education and training in key topics of interest to local professionals. Topics will vary in each series but typically include areas such as those listed above. Our workshops combine current research with problems of practical interest to IT professionals.

Attendees can apply these training sessions toward their certifications by self-reporting professional development units (PDUs) or continuing education units (CEUs).  Most certification agencies such as PMI recognize relevant educational activities or programs offered by universities.
